What does it mean to us as believers, to know that the fullness of the Godhead dwells in us? What does this mean to the lives of people we touch? How does this affect our prayer life, health, marriages, relationships, every part of our lives? How does this affect satan and what effect does this have on situations where the evil one comes against us?
First of all, let’s make sure we understand the word DWELLS means: 1. to live or stay as a permanent resident; reside. 2. to live or continue in a given condition or state. One thing we know for certain. Everything that the fullness of the Godhead means, is in us to stay. What we have to do is to pull what is in us out from the spiritual into the physical. What are some scriptures that can point us in the right direction?
Ephesians 1:19-23 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
The Greek word that is translated filleth in verse 23 is pleres, which Strong’s Dictionary says means: from <G4134> (plēroō); to make replete, i.e. (literal) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow), or (figurative) to furnish (or imbue, diffuse, influence), satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task), verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc. :- accomplish, × after, (be) complete, end, expire, fill (up), fulfil, (be, make) full (come), fully preach, perfect, supply.
Ephesians 3:16-20 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
Ephesians 4:13-15 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
When it comes my God, I have a lot to say! I can go on for days! This is truly simple, but yet, so profound. God gave Jesus everything. God was absolutely complete in Jesus. Jesus fills us, so that everything Jesus is, we can be. The degree to which we become Jesus to the world, is the degree to which we renew our minds and die to self so that Jesus can LIVE through us. 1 John 4:17 says that …as He is, so are we in this world. This is the answer to the first question, “What does it mean to us as believers, to know that the fullness of the Godhead dwells in us?” Now let’s go back and answer the remaining questions.
What does this mean to the lives of people we touch? I will answer this by posing another question. God does this to me all of the time! What would it mean to people if they experienced Jesus in the flesh, having a personal relationship with them?
How does this affect our prayer life, health, marriages, relationships, every part of our lives? Having the fullness of the Godhead fully manifested in us would change everything!!! We would act, think, love and talk like Jesus. Put it this way, we would be Jesus to the world in character, power and actions.
How does this affect satan and what effect does this have on situations where the evil one comes against us? satan is already a defeated foe. His only real power is deception and lies. We know satan has ability but not authority. When we grow up and walk, talk, love and live in the fullness of the Godhead, it will be GAME OVER for satan. There will nothing left for him to do but weep.
We have the fullness of the Godhead dwelling in each of us as believers. All we need to do is to open the gift we’ve been given and manifest our blessing and sonship, so we will be Jesus to the world. I used to be offended when people said they were Jesus or even like Jesus. Now, I get it. As He is, so are we in this world because it is not us living, but Christ living through us!
Love and Blessings,
Staying strong while under attack, is ultimately achieved by learning to walk in the Fullness of the Power of Christ! Paul says that if we know Christ’s love experientially, it would surpass intellectual knowledge and cause us to be filled with the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:5-21 5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6 That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: 10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, 12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. 14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
We serve a MIGHTY GOD! God has provided for all of our needs with answers to every question. The Holy Spirit guides and energize us, giving us revelation. I talk to God. He usually answers with a question, and the Holy Spirit brings the answer to my mind. Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. This might seem contradictory, but in order to talk to God, He has to have our full attention. We have to Be Still, in order to focus our attention on Him. We have to learn to separate ourselves from worldly distractions and to squelch the constant chatter of thoughts in our heads in order to hear from God.
Paul wanted to make sure we have a full revelation of Christ and what He has accomplished for us. In Ephesians and in Colossians, he warns us against false teaching and helps us to realize the completeness of what we have in Christ. Paul told us to live Holy lives and gave us specific instructions. Colossians 2:6-10 6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7 Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
In order to walk with God, we have to have true Faith. When we receive salvation, we receive God’s supernatural Faith. People get messed up by believing that they then have to earn salvation’s benefits through works, instead of having the faith to accept what God has already provided for us by grace. Faith requires many things, like courage, love, thanksgiving, and praise! Faith has to be cultivated and grown! The Shield of Faith protects us against satan’s fiery darts! You have authority given to you as a Believer.
satan’s main weapon is deception. He attacks our mind by invading our thoughts. We are Spiritual Warriors engaged in a real life and death battle! I was personally under satanic attack where the evil one was using the principle of mass, (attacks from all sides) I did Curry Blake’s S.W.A.T. 1 and 2 (Spiritual Warriors Apostolic Training purchase and the S.W.A.T. Manuals). I highly recommend you take these two courses. JGLM.org I learned so much there is not time to go into, but suffice to say that I now know that our best defense is to always be on the offense. This ties satan up because he is constantly on the defense, a far weaker position.
There are many things you can do to stay strong physically, mentally, and spiritually, primarily you need to immerse yourself in the things of God! Start your day with an affirmation for yourself and write a specific prayer for your loved ones and children. Then follow it up with an affirmation of who you are in Christ. Share your faith! Renew your mind! Walk in the Truth! Detox from the world (fast from TV, newspapers, etc.). In other words, “Do” the Bible, so you will be walking in the spirit, not the flesh. Heal the sick! Raise the Dead! Cast out evil spirits! (Mark 16:15-20) Feed the hungry! Serve your fellow man! There is not a good work that we shouldn’t be able to do! (2 Timothy 3:17)
Curry Blake warns us to “watch yourself and your doctrine”. (1 Timothy 5:17) “What I believe, I will say. What I say, I will preach. What I preach, people will hear. What they hear, they will do. If you keep correct doctrine, you will save yourself and those who hear you.” We need to read the Bible slowly, being careful to only repeat what we read, not what we have been incorrectly taught or have heard people say for years. We are required to withdraw from people who don’t hold sound doctrine (1 Timothy 6:1-5), or who have a form of godliness but deny God’s power. (Matthew 6:23) If you don’t have a local church who is preaching the TRUTH, try Dominion Life Church, streamed live. You can also catch Curry Blake on YouTube.
When we realize Who God is, Who God is in us and Who we are in Him,
WE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME! Everything changes when we switch from an event-based to a life-style based Christianity. Our Christian lives shouldn’t consist of feeling close to God for an hour at church or during a special event. Our Christian Lives should be living the life God created us to live, doing the Word, 24/7!
Next to being saved, being Baptized by the Holy Spirit, is the single most important event in my Christian life. You receive the ability to live the Christian Life when you are Baptized by the Holy Spirit! With this Baptism, you receive zeal, passion, the ability to pray in tongues, and receive revelation knowledge. Praying in tongues allows the spirit to go out and do what He wants done. We build ourselves up by praying in the Holy Spirit. When we pray in tongues, the Spirit of God is speaking straight to God, which makes our faith effective. Praying in the Holy Spirit, you can pray over specific circumstances which you personally have no knowledge of, because the Holy Spirit knows everything! (Romans 8:26-27) John G. Lake said that speaking in tongues was the making of his ministry! Dr. Lake would go for walks and pray in tongues, go home, and interpret his prayers.
satan uses our feelings and our senses to deceive us. 2 Corinthians 12:9-11 says that when are weak, then we are strong. Regardless of how we “feel”, we must do the will of God. Matthew 17:20 says that Faith the size of a mustard seed is enough. satan cannot win if we believe the Word of God above everything that we see, hear or feel! Our circumstances will change to line up with the Word, if we continue, in faith, to BELIEVE God!
satan will send diversions to draw our attention away from our mission. One of the many ways he can do this, is to send well-meaning people to drain us of our time and energy. While we are commanded to love and not to judge, we have to be smart and realize when our resources are being wasted and diverted from our purpose. satan’s tactics also include diverting our attention with something relatively minor so he can sneak in an attack on something major. With our attention diverted, we don’t see the big one coming!
We are in the people business. The best thing we can give anyone is a relationship with God, which starts by getting saved! We are to reconcile man to God and to set people free of satan’s bondage and oppression. We have to learn to delegate and prioritize. It is more efficient and effective to work with a team to advance the Kingdom of God! Synergy develops when we stand in agreement and in intercession for one another! Tag team prayer works! Birth and bath everything in prayer!
We need to spend time honoring our bodies as the temple of God. We need to be physically, emotionally and spiritually fit to do God’s work. We have to love ourselves if I am to love my neighbor as myself! (Mark 12:31) Of course, that doesn’t mean that it is OK to be self-indulgent and selfish! satan attacks us at our weakest points, which for me, is physical. I WILL make a plan and follow it, to overcome this area of weakness. When we build up our spiritual immune system, it also benefits our physical and emotional immune systems. Our life is our witness, and I will learn to walk in divine health!
How spiritually developed we are, determines how long we allow our emotions to control us. We are our own damage control! When people curse us, we should bless them. Like David, we can also command our souls to bless God! Neither satan nor man can control us or make us feel anything negative, UNLESS WE LET THEM! Like Jesus, we can retaliate in the spirit! Jesus healed the multitude after finding out his cousin John had been killed by Herod! When we are attacked, we need to go find out and find people to bless and to heal! The purpose of every attack is to pull us out of the spiritual and into the flesh.
satan operated under authority when Jesus walked the earth. Now, satan has only ability but no authority. Jesus took back the keys to death and hell from satan and triumphed over death when He rose again! I believe that when we learn to walk in the fullness of the power of Christ, satan’s ability will be cut off. The best way to stay strong while under attack, is to be like Jesus and learn to walk in His power, for His glory! AMEN! So be it.
With His Love,
God Gives Us HOPE!
Faith, Hope and Love. These three essentials are inextricably linked. 1 Corinthians 13:13 But now we still have faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is LOVE. The Message Bible says it like this, 1 Corinthians 13:12-13 12 We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us! 13 But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.
Why am I writing about FAITH, HOPE AND lOVE? Because I have lived through a few rough weeks, battling on several fronts, but I am determined and I KNOW that I am going to be victorious! (1 John 5:4, Romans 8:31, Ephesians 6:14-16, 1 John 4:4, 1 Corinthians 15:57, Romans 8:37)
Life events, satan, and our own mistakes can combine to create situations where it seems everything is conspiring to rip away our hope, shake our faith, leaving us feeling less than loving, much less loved! But in times like these, we have to be even more determined and learn to see things as they really are. The Word of God needs to permeate us until God’s promises are more real to us than our circumstances. We can all get in the flesh. When we get offended, worried, hopeless, we aren’t walking in God’s kind of Love. The Bible tells us to crucify our flesh. (Galatians 5:24)
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Romans 6:6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin..
One of the first things my own Mother said to my husband, was that I was a really good person with a kind heart, but I was really stubborn and I probably wouldn’t listen to him! As I have matured in my faith, I have learned to channel that stubbornness into determination and use it for good! Your God-given personality traits can be used for good or for ill. Just as Saul (who became Paul after his conversion) once used the intensity of his zeal to persecute Christians, but later used this same passion to preach the Gospel of the Risen Christ! Use what God gave you to advance the Kingdom of God and to keep FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE alive!
Our faith in God produces an abiding hope, and hope produces faith. If we lose hope, it is because we don’t have our eyes on Jesus. We can’t focus on the problem, we have to focus on the solution. God gives us this promise. Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you.
Through my recent trials, I was talking to God. He answered my questions with this simple statement. OBEY MY COMMANDMENTS. Immediately, the Holy Spirit brought to my mind that Jesus said to love God with all your heart, soul, and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself. (Luke 10:27) The answer was to focus on God, love and serve people, and live in God’s kind of LOVE. Simple. Profound. Enlightening. Revealing. God was lovingly reminding me that my focus was not on Him.
1 Corinthians 13:7 talks about Love.Andrew Wommack says that “Hope is a product of love. Understanding the depths of God’s love will cause hope in people’s hearts, regardless of their situations. Those who don’t have hope aren’t experiencing God’s kind of love. God’s kind of love hopes all things.” Andrew says that hope is having a positive (godly) imagination. Those without God have an imagination, but it is generally not positive and certainly not godly.
Those who know Christ shouldn’t be using their imaginations to think up what terrible things might or could happen. We are not children of fear! (2 Timothy 1:7) Proverbs 18:21 says that Life and Death are in the Power of the Tongue. The Message Bible says it this way,21 Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose. Romans 4:17 says that we should call those things that aren’t, as though they were! Every morning I say a Family Affirmation calling things as I know they should and will be! I BELIEVE!
Deuteronomy 30:19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.
God tells us to take care of one another in many ways. Colossians 3:16 tells us to admonish (warn) one another. Galatians 6:2 tells us to bear each other’s burdens. Romans 14:19 tells us to build each other up. 1 Corinthians 12:25 tells us to care for one another. James 5:16 tells us to confess our faults to each other and to pray for one another. Romans 12:10a tells us to be devoted to and honor one another. Ephesians 4:32 says for us to forgive one another and be kind. Hebrews 10:24 tells us to encourage one another to do good works! Galatians 5:13 tells us to serve one another. Romans 15:7 tells us to accept one another. 1 Thessalonians 4:18 tells us to comfort one another. Colossians 3:9 tells us to be honest with one another. 1 Peter 4:9 tell us to be hospitable with one another (welcoming, sociable, generous ), to really go out of your way for someone. Romans 15:5 tells us to be of the same mind because there is strength in unity. Ephesians 5:21 tell us to submit to one another, and in doing so, we learn how to be truly humble. Romans 12:5 tells us to remember that we are all part of something bigger than ourselves. We are the body of Christ Jesus! Romans 13:8 tells us to love one another, and the greatest of these, is LOVE.
We all need to make a promise to one another to help each other always choose and SPEAK LIFE! Every family, every Christian Brother and Sister needs to make a commitment to do this together, as the body of Christ. It is our job to help each other watch what we say. To remind each other of the curses we are constantly uttering the minute we get into the flesh. We can help one another, but always make sure it is done completely out of Love and is a gentle, loving reminder. Remembering also, that when we are in the flesh, it isn’t always pleasant to hear even a loving reminder. Proverbs 15:1 A gentle response diverts anger, but a harsh statement incites fury.
It is HOPE that activates our Faith. Once we begin to have Hope for something, it is our Faith that brings it into manifestation. Hope is believing something can exist that doesn’t yet exist in the physical realm. Hebrews 13:5 says that God will never leave us or forsake us. If we truly believe this, there is every reason to be filled with HOPE and Faith, and no reason whatsoever to fear! Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Andrew Wommack explains the connection between Faith and Hope in a way that bears repeating here. “Faith is real. It is substance and evidence. It is just substance and evidence of things that can’t be seen, but they do exist. Some people have mistakenly thought faith is believing that something is real when it really isn’t, and if we believe it hard and long enough, it will become real. That’s not accurate.
There are spiritual realities that do exist; they just exist in a realm that we can’t see or perceive with our five senses. To think that something doesn’t really exist just because we can’t see, taste, hear, smell, or feel it, is stupid. We can’t see television or radio signals, but they do exist. All we have to do to prove that is take a television, plug it in, turn it on, and tune it in to a frequency, and there is physical proof that something in the unseen realm exists. But when we see and hear the signal is not when it becomes real. It was real before. It just existed in a realm that we couldn’t perceive by our five senses.
Likewise, everything that Jesus provided for us is already real. It does exist, but it exists in a spiritual form that we can’t perceive with our five senses. We have to believe that these things exist. Our faith then becomes that receiver that takes what is already true in the spiritual realm and makes it physically manifest in the natural realm.
Faith gives substance to what we hope for. No hope = no faith. Hope is like a thermostat. It’s not the power unit, but it controls the power unit. Hope involves our imaginations. So, putting all of this together, we see that we have to see the desired result in our imaginations before our faith can bring it to pass.”
God wants you to have all the answers and to be able to walk in the fullness of the Power of Christ. He wants to give us a supernatural revelation of what is means to have Christ in us. Colossians 1:27 God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the HOPE of glory. The Amplified Bible’s translation of this verse reads, “To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory.”
Romans 15:13 says that God is a God of Hope. When we are operating in the power of the Holy Spirit, we will have hope, peace and joy! We will live in Faith, Hope and LOVE. Victory lies in our learning to walk in the Power of the Holy Spirit.
With His Love,
I would welcome your comments, and look forward to responding to you.
In the world, truth is defined as: the real facts about something, the things that are true, the quality, state or idea of being true. Truth is found in the Living Word of God. John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. We are made Holy by the truth of the Word. God’s Word is TRUTH, it doesn’t just contain truth. Simply put, anything that contradicts the Word of God is not truth.
In the world, it may be true that you have cancer, but God’s promises must be more real to you than your circumstances. Stick to God’s TRUTH and the facts will change. Healing was provided in Christ’s atonement at the cross when He was beaten. This is an important truth every Christian needs to know because satan brings disease and afflictions but we don’t have to be sick. (see The Believer’s Authority) God said in 1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
I studied healing before finding Brother Curry Blake at John G. Lakes Ministries (JGLM.org) and taking their course on healing, the DHTT. However, before taking the DHTT, it was not clear to me that we can have faith for another person. Brother Curry made the answer evident through Scripture. Not only does Curry’s message resonate in my spirit, it is confirmed in the WORD of God. That Jesus provided for our healing is the most important truth in regards to healing. The most misunderstood fact about healing is that some preachers and teachers don’t know that we can have faith for another person. In Mark 16:15-20, it doesn’t say that you will know my believers because they will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover only if they have enough faith.
Jesus commended people who had faith, like the woman with the issue of blood, but He never told anyone they had to have their own faith in order for Him to heal them. Someone has to have faith, everyone involved can have faith, but the person being healed doesn’t even have to be a believer, much less have their own faith. There are numerous times documented in scripture that Jesus healed them all! (Matthew 12:15, Matthew 4:23, Matthew 9:35, Matthew 14:14, Matthew 15:30, Acts 10:13) Do you think it is likely that ALL those people had their own faith for healing? How likely is it that every single one in the crowd was even a believer? How about the people Jesus raised from the dead? Could a dead person have their own faith to be healed? You have to read the Word of God for yourself. You can hear things at church that aren’t true. People repeat what they are taught or what they hear, and it may or may not be what the Word of God says. God says if any man lacks wisdom, let him ask, and I will give it to him liberally. (James 1:5) Go to God with your questions and ask Him for revelation. READ THE WORD!!! Get your answers straight from the Source.
Also, it’s possible to minister healing to people even when you can’t physically lay hands on them. I prefer to physically lay my hands on people, but you can minister healing without being physically present. You command the healing to occur in the name of Jesus. Jesus is always the example we need to follow. Jesus healed people without being physically present, like the woman’s daughter (Mark 7:25-30, Matthew 15:22-28), and the centurion’s servant (Matthew 8:13).
Through my studies with Brother Curry at JGLM, I have found the ultimate Truth, and that is that we are to take Dominion and walk in the fullness of the Power of Christ. Prior to this, I had no idea that we could move past the gifts of the spirit. God gave us the gifts so that we could receive from Him before we arrived at full maturity in our spiritual walk. The gifts were talked about in Corinthians. The Corinthian church was the most immature, messed up church in the Bible. Paul said he couldn’t give the Corinthians meat, he could only give them milk. (1 Corinthians 3:2) In Hebrews, believers were admonished because they weren’t yet ready for spiritual Meat. (Hebrews 5:12) Jesus said that He had meat that the disciples didn’t know about.(John 4:33-34) The meat is to DO THE WORD! (James 1:22) We are the body of Christ. When you minister healing, you are doing the Word!
Before studying with Brother Curry, I had never even heard about taking Dominion over satan and setting people free of satan’s bondage and oppression! I have learned that it is our job to reconcile the lost to God, and to set the oppressed free. We are God’s Son, the devil’s Master, and Man’s Servant. I don’t just know this. I believe it! It resonates in my spirit and is confirmed in the Word of God!
There are so many Believers who are out there, going to church, knowing that God has something more than they are experiencing. They know something major is missing in their Christian lives. I tell everyone who will listen about THE TRUTH because we all have a job to do for the Kingdom of God. I tell people, that Andrew Wommack started me on the road to Truth. Brother Curry and JGLM cleared up some questions for me, filled in the gaps and showed me that we needed to take Dominion and walk in the fullness of the Power of Christ. God is the ultimate hook up!
I first studied with Andrew Wommack (awmi.net). Andrew introduced me to: the truth of Grace, The Believer’s Authority, healing and the fact that God wants us well, being Baptized in the Holy Spirit, and many other biblical truths that I was never taught in all my years going to a traditional church. I owe Andrew Wommack a debt of gratitude because I grew by leaps and bounds devouring his materials. AWMI.org will send you materials for free if you can’t afford it. He has all kinds of free teachings on his website, as well as a free Roku channel.
Andrew always emphasizes the faith of the person getting healed, so it is easy to mistakenly think that he believes that you can’t get healed unless you have your own faith. However, if you listen to more of his teachings and you will find him saying that God’s best is for you to have faith and not need anybody else to heal you. Andrew Wommack says that when you are spiritually mature, you receive directly from God. Andrew tells us that because God loves us, He provides a way for people to be healed before they grow to maturity. God uses the spiritual gift of healing and other people’s faith for your healing.
I believe Andrew intends to emphasize that God’s best is for us to grow to maturity where we believe and receive directly from God and walk in divine health, as he himself does. Somehow, as Andrew Wommack is teaching a person to have faith and that God wants them well, he ends up emphasizing a person’s own faith to the point that it seems a person has to have their own faith, or they can’t get healed. I pray this clears up the issue of faith and healing for you because you can have faith for other people!
The secret to the success Curry Blake and Andrew Wommack experiences in healing is that they teach people to take Dominion and to use their God-given authority like a general. We are to command sickness, disease, and oppression to Go NOW! Notice that Jesus didn’t pray for healing, He spoke a command for healing to occur. The proof is in the pudding! Success with healing proves that we can have faith for another person. Remember that God’s best is for all of us to get to the point where we walk in divine health. If we aren’t sick, we don’t need healing. After all, Jesus already paid for our healing.
I urge you to take the (Divine Healing Technician Training) which will give you the tools you need to “DO” the Word. You can take the DHTT for free by going to jglm.org Every Christian is suppose to be laying hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:15-20)
We have a responsibility to the Truth, as we are representing God in everything we say, do or write. It grieves me when things are said that could lead a person, seeking the TRUTH, to come to the wrong conclusion. Worse, many times what we are being taught is absolutely wrong and has no basis in the Truth found in the Living Word of God.
If you have heard something at church all of your life, like God uses illness and hard times to teach you something, you tend to just accept it. Our God is a good God! He would no more make you sick to teach you something than you would put your child’s hand on a hot eye of a stove and burn them to teach them a lesson! It is satan who comes to kill, steal and destroy! (John 10:10) Again, I urge you to examine everything you think you know and validate it yourself in the Word of God. I also caution you to avoid taking scripture out of context! The Bible will comment on itself, and digging into the Word of God will show you the Truth.
I have learned to be a discerning Christian. I may love you and believe in you, but you can count on me checking out every word you say both in my Spirit, and in my Bible. A true man or woman of God will urge you to check out and verify everything they are teaching you in scripture. If I find something amiss, you can also count on me “tell you the truth in Love.” God teaches us and instructs us with Living Word. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
If you haven’t learned to renew your mind in the Word of God, you can be easily mislead and manipulated. satan will gladly come into the door you left open and delights in inflicting maximum damage. satan doesn’t want you to be free of the disease, sin, depression, that he has sent to oppress you! satan knows you can’t be a very effective witness for the Kingdom of God when you are busy being in bondage to sin, sickness and depression. (I realize that satan is a proper noun, but I refuse to give him that much credit.) Whereever there is doubt, confusion, unbelief and fear, there is satan.
I am on a journey to be and do everything God created me to do. I want everything God has for me, and in the end, I want Him to tell me, “Well done, My good and faithful servant.” What I have learned so far has brought me to a place I have ZEAL and a LOVE for God that is intense! Before I wanted to do more, but I didn’t know what to do! Now I am shouting, “Here I am Lord, send me!” One thing I have learned is to take what you know and do it. I have begun a disciplined journey working for the Kingdom of God through: renewing my Mind with the LIVING WORD OF GOD, my studies at Dominion Bible Institute, being an active “doer of the Word”, and starting God’s Word is True Ministries.
God has allowed me to minister to people in many ways. God has sent me people who have been oppressed by cancer and other sicknesses and I have seen how the Word restores HOPE back to the hopeless. God has given me the gift of encouragement and the gift of teaching. Once a person is healed, they refer friends who are sick or need encouragement to me. Then someone they know has a need, and they tell them to call me…and so it goes. See Every Christian has a Ministry. It is about ministering healing, or whatever is needed, “as you go”.
I know that people are looking for the Truth. You can link up with other people who are seeking the truth. Just this week, I reached out to a friend I rarely get to see. This friend admitted she was struggling because she knew there was something more but she didn’t know what to do or where to find it. I told her about what I had learned and where she could go to find what she was looking for! She said she was thanking God for sending me to give direction and encouragement!
I urge everyone to invest time and effort and really get close to God. God wants a relationship with us! Seek the Truth. Read the Bible! Pray! Study the teachings at jglm.org and awmi.net Become a part of the Body of Christ. As you mature in Christ, you can end up outgrowing your church. Perhaps the problem is that you can’t find a full-gospel church in your area. I love Curry Blake’s Dominion Life Church! They stream live every Sunday. I recommend DLIAC to everyone who needs a full-gospel church. JGLM also has small groups that meet in people’s homes called Life Teams. You can contact them to see if there is a Life Team near you, or you can start one!
I strive to keep it honest, real and True. I can repent, as you say, on a dime. I adamantly refuse to let satan beat me up with my mistakes. satan would love to keep me in condemnation so I would be ineffective for the Kingdom, but that “ain’t gonna happ’n capt’n”. I know the power of my Words to create Life or Death. I openly admit my personal mistakes and weaknesses, repent and share how God’s Word showed me a better way. I know I am not “all that and a bag of chips”. I am simply a willing vessel but at the same time I am a child of the Most High God! We have to walk in humility but at the same time, know who we are in Christ. This is one of the most important truths! (see Who You Are in Christ and A Family Affirmation)
We have to use the Authority we have been given through Christ, to command satan to “GO NOW”, in the name of Jesus. We have to take Dominion over satanic oppression of every kind. Jesus’ mission on earth was to reconcile man to God. We need to take every opportunity to reconcile man to God. We obediently do all things for the Glory of God!
I am not yet completely walking in the fullness of Christ, but I will not stop until I get there! THANK GOD, I know where I am headed. I have a goal! I can see myself there! I can tangibly visualize walking there. I do not have a dream, I have the TRUTH. God’s Truth!
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. When Adam and Eve sinned, they gave their authority to satan.
God sent Jesus to fulfill the law and the prophecy, to restore man to dominion over the earth, to provide Salvation (Sozo) and to usher in the New Covenant. When Jesus was crucified, He went to hell for three days, where He took back the keys to death and hell from satan. Jesus was then resurrected which began the New Covenant. Jesus defeated satan at the cross. We now have authority and dominion over the earth, over satan and the chaos he creates, and every living creature except other people.
Authority is ours because it has been given to us by Jesus Christ. Jesus was given authority by God. He commanded us to go and teach all nations. Jesus reminds us that He is with us always.
Matthew 28:18-20 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Jesus gave authority to us, along with protection. He told us to rejoice because our names are written in heaven, not because we have authority and power over the devil.
Luke 10:17-20 17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Jesus commanded us to go into the world, and preach. He told us to use our authority to subdue satan in every way, and that we would confirm the Word with signs. Jesus again gave us protection. He said that speaking in tongues is one of the signs that we are believers.
When you are Baptized by the Holy Spirit, one of the manifestations is the ability to speak in other tongues. People can follow you with a lot of the truth but when you start talking about speaking in tongues, some people start looking at you like you have three heads, or seem to think you have joined some kind of dangerous cult. Some people seem to have a big problem with speaking in tongues. satan uses fear of the unknown to his advantage. I know he fights hard on this front because he doesn’t want God’s people operating in the Truth and in the Power.(Acts 2:38, Acts 2:1-47, Acts 19:6, Matthew 3:11)
The following scripture are the last words Jesus spoke to us before He ascended to Heaven. In the same way a parent leaves final instructions of the most important “do’s and don’ts” to the children right before leaving, I believe these words represent the most important instructions Jesus gave to us.
Mark 16:16-20 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Paul prayed that we would receive a revelation of what we had received in Christ and understand the raising the dead power that is available to us. Everything we have in Christ is because of our union with Him. As Christ is, so are we. Jesus has put everything under our feet.
Ephesians 1:18-22 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
In order to understand the authority of the believer, we have to understand who we are in Christ!
We are manifested sons of God and joint heirs with Christ Jesus!
Galatians 4:4-7 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Romans 8:14-17 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
John 1:11-14 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
We have the righteousness of Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
We have the mind of Christ.
1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Parents are here to do what children can’t do for themselves, like keep them safe, and teach them right from wrong. I told my son that God gave him parents to teach him how to do things, then it was his responsibility to do them. When I taught my son to make his own bed, he no longer had the right to ask me to do it for him. Likewise, we don’t get to ask our heavenly Father to do for us what he has given us the power and authority to do for ourselves. We have been given the authority and power to take Dominion over satan, and with authority comes responsibility. Now is the time for the Body of Christ to grow up and become all that God created us to be.
With His Love,
Betrayal is a terrible hurtful thing. Betrayal means “an act of deliberate disloyalty, to mislead, cheat, deceive.” Betrayal has to do with destroying someone’s trust. Betrayal can also mean “helping an enemy” (like satan). You don’t have to meet all the definitions of the word for a person to feel betrayed.
So why am I writing about betrayal? Because my family was betrayed recently by someone we trusted, respected and loved. Life is full of lessons to be learned and opportunities to rise above.
Betrayal is evil. In the case of treason, entire nations can be harmed. In this case, satan used greed and pride to cause a Christian, in a position of authority, to cause harm and jeopardize an entire body of God’s people. This person has done great things for the Kingdom of God. Sadly, I experienced a very natural (carnal) reaction to this betrayal. I was angry, incensed! I fell when I failed to remain walking in Love. Thankfully, I repented and recovered. Getting there wasn’t easy. When we are hurt or angry, we have to choose to become part of the problem or part of the solution. When somebody messes with people you love, it’s never good.
I asked God to help me forgive this person. I prayed for God to open their eyes to see the Truth and to convict their heart, such that they would repent. While it remains to be seen if this will happen, God requires me to walk in love, no matter what. People who are in PRIDE often justify their behavior and refuse to see the truth. We have to remember that there has never a situation that is so bad that God can’t fix it. We serve a big God!
Christians live in a fallen world and bad, even horrific things, happen because satan still has ability, even if he doesn’t have authority. At times like these, we have to rise above our flesh and look to the Bible to see what we should do. God has given us the answer to every question we could possibly ask in the Living Word of God. God has given us His Holy Spirit to guide us. Rest assured, God has made every provision for every situation. So let’s look for a minute at the Life of Jesus to help us put things in perspective.
Jesus could have written the book on the subject of betrayal, but Jesus wouldn’t have written that book because He lived in LOVE. Think for a moment about what Jesus did for us. He gave up His deity and divine nature to come to earth to live as a man. He suffered rejection by his own people. Jesus put up with sinful, flawed humans and almost constant betrayal. Then, after being betrayed by one of His own, they crucified Him in the most horrific way. We can’t begin to understand His suffering. Jesus took on every sickness and disease, every curse onto his own body, in our place at the whipping post. Jesus endured all of this, maintaining His AGAPE LOVE towards his persecutors. While on the cross, suffering inconceivable pain, Jesus said, “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34)
We could compare our entire collective lifetimes of satanic oppression and affliction with what Jesus went through and our woes would pale in comparison. It seems our flesh wants to have a pity party at every opportunity. We have to remember that the people who love us share our joys and our sorrows. We need to walk in love always and forsake self-indulgent negativity and strife. Yes, life (satan) can be cruel, and unfair, but GOD IS GOOD to us! Keeping our eyes on Jesus is always the right answer.
Sometimes, we have to stand up and FIGHT for what is right, good and true! We are to hate evil. (Proverbs 8:13) We are to hate sin but love the sinner. We can look at the letters to the churches in Revelation and see that the Lord always mentioned the good things the churches were doing before He got to the things they hadn’t done or needed to fix. We would do well to emulate His example. Remember, a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. (Proverbs 15:1) Always speak the truth in LOVE. (Ephesians 4:15) Sometimes people need help. They need someone to put things into perspective. We all need to hear the truth. We are often our own worst enemy. The battle is most often between our ears. Satan loves to attack our bodies and our minds, but attacks on our heart are the worst.
Everyone needs to find a fire-baptized, spirit-filled, full-gospel friend. One who knows God’s Word, and will stand with us and encourage us. We need to pray the powerful prayer of agreement and to pray in intercession, one for another. In case you don’t have anyone, in the name of Jesus, I loose shalom from heaven and God’s agape love to overpower satan’s hold over you. AMEN! satan has NO AUTHORITY or POWER over you but he does have ability. Just like a thief can break into your home but a thief has no legal right to be there.
If we have not yet grown to maturity, such that we walk in the fullness of Christ, we are, in effect, ALLOWING satan to make us (and everyone else) miserable. We have to learn to take Dominion. God created the earth and gave man dominion over every living thing, except other people.
We sometimes forget that what happens to us affects everyone who loves us! We are called to be both LIGHT and SALT. (Matthew 5:13-16) People we minister to need our encouragement and our love all the time! We can’t afford to take time off from doing God’s work to throw a pity party for ourselves. It makes us miserable, opens a door to satan, and it’s just plain selfish.
We can CHOOSE TO RISE ABOVE and continue to do God’s work for His people. While we are still suffering in this life, we can live in victory by sowing fruit, seeds of Love, Kindness, Selflessness, Gentleness, Faithfulness, Patience, Goodness, Joy, Peace, and Self Control in our words, deeds and prayers for others. We need to be that spirit-filled manifested son of God, who loves, teaches and encourages. We may have been betrayed, or even worse, but to stay in that place where we are miserable makes us totally ineffective for the Kingdom of God! Pray in tongues! SPEAK LIFE! Cry out to God! Ask God for wisdom and strength! The Bible says that if any man lacks wisdom, he should ask. (James 1:5) In the name of Holy Jesus, bind satan and refuse to accept his junk. Don’t sign for the package! Return to Sender, Address Unknown! satan can’t do to you or give you what you refuse to accept! Make a choice to believe God!
satan wants us to give up! He might have us right where he wants us…with no hope, filled with anger, separated from people we love… REFUSE to be bitter. We have to get, and we need to be holy pissed at satan. When things look like they can’t get any worse, LOOK UP! (Preferably look up before then!) Praising God is best thing we can do! It pleases God and there is nothing satan hates worse. Sometimes people feel like they have lost everything. You can’t lose everything unless satan convinces you to walk away from what is right and holy, including God. God’s promises are more real than your circumstances! BELIEVE IT!
Jesus paid the price! satan cannot win! Kudos to the first person who said, “I read the end of the book, and we win!” Tell satan that, in the name of Jesus, he is bound, impotent, and of no effect!!!! Put on the full armor of God. When you’ve done all else STAND. (Ephesians 6:10-18 ) Then start praising God! You are FREE in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 5:1, John 8:31-32, 36)
Think of Paul and Silas praising God and singing in the bowels of the prison in stocks, beaten…waiting to be possibly executed…their circumstances horrific, and God delivered them via an earthquake! And LOOK! There’s more! The jailer and his entire family was saved! (Acts 16:16-40) Let God be true and every man (and satan) a liar! (Romans 3:4) The choice is Ours. The Bible says, I call heaven and earth as witness this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore CHOOSE LIFE, that both you and your descendants may live. (Deuteronomy 30:19) Life and death are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruits. (Proverbs 18:21) We all need to ask ourselves, are we speaking life and rebuking death? Are we really choosing LIFE in everything we say or do?
Our God is the God of HOPE! He is the God of RESTORATION! FOCUS on Jesus! Be strong and keep the faith! If God is for us who can be against us!!! (Romans 8:31) Remember that His word says these three remain, faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is LOVE. Choose to walk in LOVE. (1 Corinthians 13:13)
NOTHING, not betrayal nor tragedy of any kind, can separate us from the love of God. (Romans 8:35) God has given us everything we need, because He LOVES US! The Living Word of God says,
John 13:34-35, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples.
With HIS Love,
(A continuation from God is Love)
GOD LOVES US SO MUCH that He supplies all of our needs for those who operate in faith and in partnership with Him. Like any good parent, God won’t do for us what He has made a way for us to do for ourselves. God has chosen to work through people. Sometimes God uses us and sometimes God uses other people to meet our needs.
You have to be in the Word of God in order to know what to do. The Bible says to seek first the Kingdom of God and all else will be added unto you! (Mathew 6:33) One thing is for sure, God will never go against His character or His Word. God is pure love and He is always faithful! God’s promises, His TRUTH is more Real than your circumstances. (See my blog post on How do We Get There from Here and How do We Get Here from There, Part 2)
1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
Philippians 4:19 (NLT) And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
Paul wrote this to the Philippians, who had supported his ministry time and time again, showing themselves to be faithful. Notice the last part, “which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. What did Jesus give to us? EVERYTHING! Jesus gave us salvation (saved, healed delivered and so much more!), grace, and made us righteous (right standing with God), through himself. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit (the comforter) to dwell in us. Jesus gave us the ability to use His name and the authority to use the very power of God! (see the Salvation page and look at the word SOZO) This is just the short list!
It is God’s will that all of our needs are met in abundance, but this won’t happen if you don’t believe God and have faith. For example, in the area of finances, you show faith by giving. Through giving, you are acting in faith that God will supply your needs. Lots of people don’t understand God’s economy because it is the exact opposite of the world economy. Many people choose to relate only to the world economy. The world would say that if we don’t have enough as it is, then giving anything away is just plain crazy. We have to trust God by giving in faith so that we line ourselves up to receive God’s blessing of prosperity. If you don’t give because you don’t believe that you have enough to give some away, then you simply don’t believe God, regardless of what you wish were true or that you might say to the contrary. (See the post on Thanksgiving)
God is a good God! God doesn’t send temptation and trials to us. While God doesn’t bring trials to us, He is faithful to bring us through it. Always remember that it is satan that comes to steal, kill and destroy. (John 10:10) God gives us a way out of every temptation satan throws our way, but we have to do our part! The Bible says that we have to submit ourselves to God, resist satan, and he will flee from us. If we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. (James 4:7-8) God requires faithful obedience.
1 Corinthians 10:13 (ESV) No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
2 Peter 2:9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,
2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.
Ephesians 6:10-12 (MSG) And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.
God does supernaturally provide for us. To us, it may seem that God swoops in and saves us in our emergency, but considering that God knows everything in advance, it is just all part of His plan. By studying God’s Word and being “doers of the Word and not hearers only” (James 1:22), we can mature to the point that we operate in the fullness of Christ. If you are reading this blog, you are probably on your own journey towards understanding and receiving everything God has for you! Think about this for a moment, if you don’t get sick, you don’t need to be healed! Just like walking in divine health is preferable to being miraculously healed, walking in the fullness and the power of Christ is preferable to having to be rescued. God never had to swoop down and rescue Jesus. Jesus walked in the power of God through the Holy Spirit while living as a man in the flesh! This is the journey that I am on. I want to walk in the fullness of Christ and the Power of God through the Holy Spirit. (See the Baptism of the Holy Spirit page and look at the video.)
to be continued…
With His Love,
that knows no limits…
It’s worth more than gold. It’s what people yearn for. Sometimes people look for it in all the wrong places…trying to fill a hole that only God can fill. Loves lives in relationships, a relationship with God and with people. Love is what makes life worth living. It is everything, both past, present and future. Christians can look forward to eternity filled with God’s love.
1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. (Read the entire rest of this chapter because it is all about Love.)
God Is LOVE! When you hold your child and feel this overwhelming sense of love well up inside, you can get but a mere glimpse of the kind of love that God feels for us! Jesus said that people will know we are His disciples because of the love we have one for another!
John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
If you take away your “self” it is easy to love people. It is when we let our “self” get offended or annoyed that loving people is hard. We have to die to ourselves and Live for God! Our flesh has to be crucified so that we can grow to maturity in Christ. God wants us to love each other all of the time, as God loves us.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
God doesn’t want us to be somebody’s doormat. Love isn’t about enabling somebody to be selfish, lazy or cruel. When people live in love, it is a beautiful and holy relationship. Love is all good! Love isn’t selfish but rather selfless. Without LOVE, we are nothing, we gain nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:1-7, 13 1. If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; 5 it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.… 13 Now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Ephesians 4:2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
When we live in God’s love, and know the truth, our love for one another is sincere and pure.
1 Peter 1:22 Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,
If we truly love God, we will obey all of His commandments. How can we know God’s commandments but that we study His Words for ourselves and keep them in our hearts and minds. If we do these things, Jesus said that he will reveal Himself to us and live in us, and that these words were from God himself.
John 14:21-24 Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?” Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me.
Jesus said that He loves us, the same way the Father loves Him! Think about that for a moment! If we keep God’s commandments and abide in God’s love, we will experience God’s love and peace. We will be friends of God and know all things.
God gave us commandments so that we would live the right way. He knew that only by right living, could we be truly happy and experience real Joy! God loves us whether or not we keep His commandments, but we can refuse to live in God’s love. satan wants to blind us to God’s love because our awareness of God’s love is everything in this world!
Keeping God’s commandments creates love for God in us. Then, we will know the greatest kind of love. The kind of love where we would sacrifice our own life for another. Jesus laid down His life for us! God’s love for us never changes. We just need to learn to abide (live) in His love.
We often say we found God, but the truth is that God chose us. God has given each one of us a purpose, and that is to bear lasting fruit for the Kingdom of God. Then, whatever we ask the Father, in Jesus’ name, He will give to us.
John 15:9-17 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you, so that you will love one another.
In Mark 12, Jesus said the greatest commandment in all of the Old Testament is to love God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strength. Then He said the second greatest commandment is to love our neighbors as ourselves. Then in Mathew, Jesus said that all of the Old Testament could be summed up into these two things.
Mark 12:30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
Mark 12:31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
Mathew 22:36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
So just how much does God LOVE you?
Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

With His Love,
God has given me a healing and teaching ministry. Early on, as I was first learning to minister healing, I was walking to my car, when God told me to “turn around”. I had seen a woman struggling to walk out of the corner of my eye, but I was thinking about where I had to go next and how short on time I was. I turned around and looked at her. I hesitated, knowing she might reject me, and as I was thinking about what I needed to do, God said, “Are you just going to leave her like this?” Needless to say, I went to her and ministered, much to her joy (and mine). I have people who didn’t want to be prayed for but I have never yet ministered to anyone who was not grateful. God’s Word restores HOPE and LIFE to people.
You don’t always see the healing manifest immediately. God’s first choice is that we walk in divine health. He made provision for people who aren’t there yet and need to be healed. When we lay hands on the sick, God always wants the sick miraculously restored . Yet, there are times when the healing is gradual. As long as we stand and do not waver, healing will happen. You can’t be unstable in your belief. You must believe that you receive when you ask. (James 1:8)
Sickness and disease is oppression from the devil. Divine Healing is the Power of God to heal the sick in body and mind. Healing for every person was included in Christ’s sacrifice at the whipping post before He was crucified.(1 Peter 2:24) It is God’s will for every Christian to minister healing to everyone all the time. (Mark 16: 17-18, Psalm 103:2; Isaiah 53:4; Matt. 8:16-17; 1 Peter 2:24; John 14:12) I encourage you to look up these scriptures and ask God to give you Revelation.
I am seeing miracles! Early on, I felt convicted because I was amazed at seeing a miracle manifest before my eyes. It was awesome seeing burned tissue restored to healthy skin. Wow! But why should I be amazed? Isn’t that what I had faith for, a miracle? In other words, the fact that God’s word is TRUE shouldn’t be a surprise, it should be what we expect and live for. What holds us back is when we try to make difficult what is very simple! God’s Word is ALWAYS TRUE!!!
It may be a fact that you have cancer. But God’s promises, the TRUTH trumps facts any day. Lazarus was dead. That was a fact. But the power of the Holy Spirit was in Jesus and He commanded Lazarus to come forth. The fact was Lazarus was dead changed to line up with the Word of God. Lazarus was raised (Truth) from the dead (fact), and miraculously (God) became very much alive! God’s promises should always be more REAL to us than our circumstances. Stick with the Truth and the facts will change.
But how do you get to the point you believe and have faith for healing? First, you have to know the Truth. I learned the truth from Andrew Wommack. His teachings helped open my eyes to the truth. I encourage you to check out the healing testimonies and videos, as well as God Wants You Well at www.awmi.net. Andrew also has a free ROKU channel. Then I learned about Curry Blake, from the John G. Lakes Ministries. They have a wonderful class, DHT, on ministering healing. Their website also has Testimonies on Healing. www.JGLM.org has tons of information about taking Dominion over satan and being part of the Kingdom of God. Brother Curry also broadcasts their services at Dominion Life Church on Sundays. You can also check out Curry Blake’s resources on YouTube. This information will jumpstart you in your quest to know God’s Truth.
You have to be very careful who you listen to. There are many people who are out there preaching and teaching who don’t know the truth. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. Everything anyone says about God needs to be checked out by you by verifying what is being said with the Bible. In James, it says if any man lacks wisdom, let him ask and God will give generously. (James 1:5)
You need to be in the Word of God daily. You need to renew your mind with the Living Word. Everything you see or hear affects you. Everything you watch on TV. Everything you hear. Even the music you listen to. Does it line up with the Word of God? If not, it is causing you harm and stealing your faith.
If someone speaks death over you, rebuke it in the name of Jesus and speak Life. For example, the doctor tells you that you have three months to live. Right then, in front of them, you speak up and say, “I rebuke that diagnosis in the name of Jesus. I will live a long full life, completely healed.” This principle needs to be applied to all things, even things that seem trivial. Always speak life!
Proverbs 18:21 Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit-you choose.
Curry Blake tells us that God has provided us with everything we need. Whether we experience His provision depends on us. God is always blessing us, but whether or not we line ourselves up to receive His blessings is up to us. Andrew Wommack says that spiritual blessings are always being sent from God but we can’t see them with our physical eyes, much like radio signals. Unless we have our spirits tuned to receive God’s blessing signals, we won’t receive them.
We need to get to a point that we have that pure child-like faith. Our Heavenly Daddy said it, and we believe it. We need to get to that point where we walk in the fullness of Christ, in the power of God, living in divine health. If the Bible says it, we believe it! How do we get there? Through renewing our minds with the Living Word of God, and being baptized with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live holy lives, do the works of Christ, and to meet the needs of people.
John 14:12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
John 16:5-15 5 But now I am going away to Him who sent Me, and not one of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ 6 Yet, because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.7 Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth. It is for your benefit that I go away, because if I don’t go away the Counselor (Holy Spirit) will not come to you. If I go, I will send Him to you. 8 When He comes, He will convict the world about sin, righteousness, and judgment: 9 About sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father and Me you will no longer see; 11 and about judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.12 “I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now. 13 When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak whatever He hears. He will also declare to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me, because He will take from what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 Everything the Father has is Mine. This is why I told you that He takes from what is Mine and will declare it to you.
Acts 1:8 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
We are accountable for what we know. From those who know much, much is expected. When you know what we have been told to do and don’t do it, it is sin.
James 4:17 Therefore to him that known to do good, and does it not, it is sin.
Believers are to be known for laying hands on the sick, and they shall recover. We are also to be casting out demons and raising the dead. (Mark 16: 17-18)
Where are these signs and wonders in the modern church? I pray you are attending a spirit filled, full gospel, Bible believing church. If not, find one! If you can’t find one, start a home church. Curry Blake’s DOMINION LIFE CHURCH service streams live on the internet at 11:00 EST. (10:00 CST) There is about 30 minutes of announcements at the beginning so the service starts about 11:30. Brother Curry brings a fresh word every week and your spirit will resonate with the Truth.
It is God’s will that we all grow to spiritual maturity so we can walk in the fullness of Christ, in the Power of God. It doesn’t take a lifetime to get there. It takes dedication and devotion and developing a relationship with God! I encourage you to get into the Word of God and to go visit these websites. Listen to everything you can get your hands on but only by preachers and teachers you can trust. Remember that there are lots of “Christian” teaching out there that isn’t truth or light. Always check everything you hear with the Bible.
As the TRUTH becomes known, people are being set free to BELIEVE the WORD. I encourage each of us to be LIGHT. It is our job to reconcile man to God and set the oppressed free. The Power to live for God is the Power of the Holy Spirit.
Mathew 7:7-8 7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock and it shall be opened unto you: 8 for everyone that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.
With God’s Love,
